Wooden Blinds
Aerolux Wooden Venetian Blinds are made exclusively out of 100% pure basswood which is THE most suitable wood for blinds. Basswood has moisture content of 8-12% and weighs about 1.7 kilograms per square meter. The weight factor is crucial for smooth lifting and the low moisture prevents the slats from warping.
The New One-Cord system for tilting and lifting eliminates the excess cord hanging from the blind on the floor. This single mechanism performs both operations of tilting and lifting of the blinds.
In house R&D has designed special fittings for motorized lifting and tilting of these blinds with our central motors instead of tubular motors. Central motors can lift blinds that range up to 2.4 meters wide and 4 meters high. With both side shaft outputs, hidden in the head rail of the blind, these unique motors have a built in pulley system suitable for both tilting and lifting operations. They are high torque motors which are capable of operating large blinds. Specially extruded aluminum sections are used to prevent rusting, adding greater stability and durability with the aluminum hexagonal shafts.
Our long time experience prove 50mm wide blinds take up much less stacking space and give much more visibility than 25mm or 40mm wide Wooden Blinds.
